Since my little girl started school, one of the most difficult tasks I have faced is coming up with meal ideas for her to eat after school. Before she leaves for school she has breakfast at 8am, then school dinners at roughly 12pm. By the time she returns home from school by 4pm she is hungry again. Question is, what do I give her as meal at that time? knowing she is off to bed by 8pm?
For the past few weeks I have been giving her two meals between that time. One upon her return at 4pm and another at 7:30. This seems to be working out well. ( On days she doesn't sleep off before I even get to make anything.
I have also found myself relying on frozen foods a lot because, well its a quick and easy option and she seems to enjoy it.
Birds Eye is one of my go to brands for frozen food and I cant wait to try their new Chicken Space Shapes and BBQ Chicken Bites. Made from 100 per cent chicken breast and free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives and costs just £2.69 per pack.
